It is such a grower. 

Music video is at 2 million views! (takes some other independent girlies MONTHS to get 1-2 million) so this is great! I also always keep in mind that youtube music videos don't get as many views as they used to. She's outpacing all of her singles with the exception of How We Roll (which had Chris Brown pulling in the extra views/streams).  

 

The video is now in the Top 50 on urban and I think that's the fastest I have seen any of her songs get in. 

 

So proud of Ciara. I really pray she rethinks the album release and does not inlcude the EP. Please father God you have risen! lmao

Since she's independent everything is gonna always have a slow start but so far so good. In comparison to all of her recent singles the past few years this is outpacing everything but I don't think we will see much impact til like maybe late May/ early June once the song picks up heavy on radio.

Song isn't going anywhere. 40K daily streams at this point How We Roll was getting 250k… Even Promise & Body Party are out streaming it now. 
 

I keep telling yall Ciara isn't an artist. So stop expecting that.. she is a performer. She got lucky with the success she had "Goodies" and "The Evolution" but those weren't her doing. 
 

Now she has power to do things her own way and loo at  the recent album cover-tomboy sheek- we've seen all this ALREADY! 
 

Paint It Black is one of her highest streams songs and that wasn't even a single… this shows Ciara can be successful if she experimented! But she wants to keep doing all the same! She's not creative.. she doesn't think outside the box. She wants to continuously prove she still able to do what she did 20 years ago.. but can't prove how much she's evolved since then. 
 

And the album title "CiCi" shows exactly where her head space is at. "I'm still that girl from the ATL" and OK we get that. But did you ever find out who you were past that?
