    she'll probably get it this year because of the new album rollout .. people forget that the VMAs don't actually award one singular deserving artist every year with the vanguard award.. they would offer it to several artists and whoever is willing to attend and perform (2 things Gaga never does) , would then receive it that year. Gaga has most likely turned it down several times.

    Did they shelve that for the Video Tricon award in 2020 which she was awarded (and immediately brought Video Vanguard back like the next year lol)?

    Does anyone know what blocked this song? Crazy that this didn't go #1, but timing radio peak with sales was always crucial back then.
