I finally found out what APT. reminded me of sonically and it is Ting Tings' 2008-2009 bop That's Not My Name. Which do you like more?

 

 

APT. Always found TNMN annoying

That's Not My Name is a classic. I do liek APT though but it's repetitiveness is super annoying.

APT wins for me. I don't like the way the verses are sung on TNMN + the prechorus of APT is fantastic.

That's Not My Name  The Ting Tings' whole album was so catchy. APT is good too, I like its melody 

That's Not My Name and it is not even close APT. is not bad by any means, but it does feel reductive which takes away from its goodness.

That's Not My Name is a classic. However, I'm amazed that Bruno is still able to make it work with a song that's best suited for the late 2000s/early 2010s period.

TNMN is better to me. I've always really liked the sentiment behind the song too. The lead singer wrote it about feeling really insecure, unworthy, and defeated after dedicating so much time and hard work to music and getting no recognition or results. It ended up being a classic and the song that put The Ting Tings on the map alongside Shut Up and Let Me Go. APT is a cute, catchy song. Nothing more, nothing less.

i really like both songs but went with APT being a Bruno fan.

APT loses me as soon as I hear 'kissy face', That's Not My Name slaps.
