Well, I did say losing and not lost. Aespa were created before SM 3.0 and the ensuing mess, and their team is very clearly the best of the existing SM teams 

The Chase is great, its true. But member selection is like half of the secret sauce for me so if they're not doing that properly no amount of good demos will convince me 

Style is cute! The chorus is a bop and the song is just happy, upbeat, and light. 

 

Somewhat unrelated, but I think creative directors need to chill a little on the graphic design. Dancing on shamrocks and having dolphins jumping over girls is certainly interesting! Maybe just have them dance in the school yard? A suggestion.

they'll probably announce it like 4 days prior. katseye is doing this too. a long teasing period for a song is useless. also blackpink could surprise drop and it would smash

Style was cute but nothing special.. also the bridge was boring and barely any high notes 

 

 

Style is okay for what it is. But it's very generic and surface level. I was also a little disappointed with the vocal production on this song.

 

The Chase and Butterflies gave hints of a good sound for them (especially with the mysterious vibe) but Style is in a completely different direction. SM might be trying concepts to see which one gets them ahead.

 

OT: Hopefully they can gain traction and enter Melon soon. The Chase did decently once their promotion was in full swing.

i thought the same thing earlier  all of these kpop music videos look like you're on drugs nnnn no amount of special effects will hide the lack of substance

yea i agree there's a problem with the members... ig that's what happen when you cast teenagers through instagram... i looked up online and they say the members trained for up to 6 years... where are the results

Style is really nice imo  Fun, fresh, catchy, easy on the ears... Perfect for a cute lil summer bop imo!

Both The Chase and Butterflies were miles better, but this is still a great song! 

Now the MV... Kind of a flop, but oh well.

He was #19 in Produce 101 and The Boyz were basically created around him, but he lost momentum and the other started surpassing him in popularity and scandals I guess
