The 2Eyes story history should remember is how they were preparing their comeback track called "Shooting Stars."  Those canned behind the scenes clips and interviews of them shooting the "Shooting Stars" MV even made it on to Arirang's daily kpop entertainment show as well as other domestic promo outlets.

Now, just going by memory, the primary production of the music video look place around September 3, those clips started appearing on those entertainment news shows a week or so later, and around September 28 it was announced that their company SidusHQ had acquired Cube Entertainment.

Suddenly, the company's interest in 2Eyes evaporated (understandable as they now had 4minute).  The production company who made the "Shooting Stars" music video never received payment for their work.  The video director eventually just posted the finished music video to his vimeo account.  And that's how we have this today:

As opposed to the official "Shooting Stars" MV which was like either a takeout from a variety show or shot on a Samsung slider phone or something.  It's really not that interesting.

The fact that @DelRey and @xrosup are always giving my posts negative reactions. Ho are y'all coo? Is there beef that I'm unaware of?

I love DelRey's reactions, though. Is he gonna downvote me for dragging NCT through the mud, as they deserve? Is he gonna give me a confused reaction because I think Kai is hot? Is he gonna laugh for no reason at all? How is his mood today? How's he doing? It's very interesting.

the public really hit return to sender on illit. poor hybe and their unstable company stans

IDK about the NJ trials and such bc I can't be bothered following it but what I DO know is that they were the last new group to really come out with a fresh, COHESIVE image. Even if you didn't like it and felt it was too Western, it's difficult to refute that basically every new group following them (like KiiKii, H2H, Illit, Meoww, Izna etc) aren't quite hitting, and are doing things we've seen many times before.

Even groups that debuted before them - like Ive and Itzy - came out with much more neutral concepts after NJ floored the market. As far as I can tell, only Aespa really stuck to their guns and achieved success. (Others have had original concepts - like XG - with varying levels of success).

NewJeans was the first group that made me feel the same way the 2nd gen icons did, they were really doing something new and bringing brand new audiences to kpop. Other 3rd and 4th gen groups(my favs included) kinda just feel like they're following in the footsteps of 2NE1/SNSD/BB/DBSK but with updated beats and costumes. Anybody who is a fan of aespa today would have found plenty of earlier groups to their liking. NewJeans was different.

This industry needs to learn to stop treating its talent as disposable, YG is going to crumble in the next few years because of this behavior and SM's current trajectory is looking the same down the road once aespa and Mark seek greener pastures. HYBE has already attempted several clones of BTS and NewJeans and it never works. The cloning strategy has literally only ever worked a single time with BP and in every other case across the industry, the replacements don't do as well. It's such an obviously misguided corporate strategy from an outsider's perspective. You can make chill d&b or new jack gg music but you can't make another NewJeans. Concepts are tied to idols in the minds of the gp.

No idea if it's been posted here yet but Anderson Paak's kpop movie has finally been picked up. GD, Vernon, and Jessica Ho are in it. He's taking an interesting angle about idol parents.:fan:

So what I'm hearing is SM needs to lock in and give Kpop another SNSD. H2H your time is coming
