from a PR perspective, BP apologizing now would be terrible because they would bring light on something they did over a decade ago and which only kpop stans care for now. and they're at a point in their career where they're both dominating the domestic market while being massive worldwide so they don't rely on events like kcon. they can easily sell out stadiums and be exposed to only their fans. kiss of life on the other hand relies tooooo much on the very same audience who's going to drag them to hell for the smallest mistake… so sadly this theme was a dumb move from their company… and yeah kpop stans are never going to let them breathe 

aespa are professionals, but there seems to be a lot of technical faults happening recently, I feel bad for them.

 

There was a recent performance where GISELLE mic was literally switching OFF in the middle of the performance and also there were faults occurring when they performed at a festival in Thailand and the girls were frustrated.

 

Obviously it's complicated to get all the sound right every time, but I wouldn't be surprised if SM is being a cheap ass again. This is their biggest active GG. They should be getting the best team to manage this.

Not even bp's biggest haters(hihi) seriously believe they would repeat those mistakes in 2025. 

 

I'm not advocating for hate trains and harassment but it's about time these kpop companies who want to profit off of western audiences and partake in western art learn that you have to respect the people you're profiting off of or else.

Kiss of Life is like the most egregious act of racism we've ever seen in kpop through a documented paper trail. It's post debut, it's something the members planned, it's something the members acknowledged as being problematic prior to doing it by saying "don't cancel us" and then it's something that is 40 minutes worth of content.

 

They'll be fine in their bubble in the domestic Korean and Asian market, so I don't feel bad for them at all. They should permanently avoid the US though and their management is insane for thinking they could get away with a US performance merely months after that.
