Girl be serious, Stray Global is making bank from songwriting and producing credits alone :rip:

"In addition, domestic and international data sources, interviews, National Tax Service records, and court cases were consulted. The main sources of income for celebrities were limited to music sales, performances, film, television, and advertisement fees, salaries, and prize winnings."

  • aespa didn't chart but guess what, we're STILL not streaming Stray Kids

Also another random rambling, I found it quite interesting / a bit sad how when I looked at Taeyeon's face, she reminded me so much of aespa.

When they debuted, everyone said that Winter resembled her. But now she's gotten so much plastic surgery that she's the one that resembles Winter now. This is truly quite a unique phenomenon to k-pop lol.

not as good as Body, but still amazing :jonny5::jonny5: cmon kings

i mean… each company has criterias of what they look for in idols so it's not surprising to see multiple idols with similar features in the same company

Winter resembled Taeyeon but 2011-2014 Taeyeon.

I actually think that Karina and Taeyeon kinda resemble each other more nowadays.

I do agree that Taeyeon overdid the PS. Especially the nose.

She looked amazing during the Mr. Mr. era. She shouldn't have done anything else imo.

i mean you have to have a base before PS and they all looked pretty similar (in terms of features) before it imo

like you can tell it's key skskdkd

I appreciate that nobody posted the new NEXZ song that YT tried to recommend to me just because I watched three Kpop videos in a row. You'll all sleep well tonight.

Also just found out that Enhypen's Bite Me, which I've been listening to a lot this last week for some reason, was produced by one guy who did one of the best pop song's ever (Dua's Physical) and another guy who produced the entirety of Gaga's new album Mayhem. The taste I exude -- a thing of beauty.

oh they definitely have a type

but imo it's not like today where the companies have a VERY specific type of visual they go for
just look at shinee / SNSD and the diversity of their faces back in the day

Not to be messy but why are the gays are always speaking on the SM girls ps. BP and the entire industry just have as much ps if we're being perfectly honest :suburban:

At the end of the day, its their job to look good on cameras. we can't fault them :bird:

The reason why skz probably aren't on that Forbes Korea list is not because they're broke but it also includes relevance in Korea in there ranking and well…

These idols wouldn't be mistaken as siblings in childhood is all we're saying. NONE of them were born with those noses lol.

SM does pick similar faces, but they definitely did also pick the same doctors afterwards.

Most of us are well aware that most celebrities do PS. But yeah, SM idols always get mentioned despite not being the only ones that get it. I think it has to do with the fact that SM always has shown a preference for a specific type of beauty/face.

Honestly I don't see PS as a bad thing as long as is well done and they don't go overboard. :bird:

As a Taeyeon Stan it's so frustrating it's like between every comeback she's gotten something else done like girl STOP before you become Miss Park Bom 2.0

you spilled

altho I do have a feeling that SM always goes the extra mile

I was a little shook when H2H debuted

but PS is normalized in korea, it's funny how fans in the west get worked up whenever PS is mentioned or pointed out, when korean parents gift their kids double eyelid surgery as a graduation present :-*

A lot of boy group members are coming out with the same features… the amount of 5th gen idols that look straight out of txt's plastic surgeon offices is crazy

There's nothing wrong with pointing out PS either though. These idols are willingly getting it at this point many years into their careers (not company forced pre-debut).

It's just sad. Taeyeon is gorgeous but really looks nothing like 2009 Taeyeon anymore. Just want her to learn to love herself and stop getting more stuff done
