These idols wouldn't be mistaken as siblings in childhood is all we're saying. NONE of them were born with those noses lol.

SM does pick similar faces, but they definitely did also pick the same doctors afterwards.

none of these idols are being mistaken as siblings right now either yall are just being very weird :deadbanana4:

  • aespa didn't chart but guess what, we're STILL not streaming Stray Kids

Can we just go back discussing music and gowns? the ps talk is so tired. All of them does it, it's an industry standard

My girls are stunning, end of story

There's nothing wrong with pointing out PS either though. These idols are willingly getting it at this point many years into their careers (not company forced pre-debut).

It's just sad. Taeyeon is gorgeous but really looks nothing like 2009 Taeyeon anymore. Just want her to learn to love herself and stop getting more stuff done

we should not underestimate how hard it is to age in the korean entertainment industry tho, especially for women

altho I do have a feeling that SM always goes the extra mile

I was a little shook when H2H debuted

but PS is normalized in korea, it's funny how fans in the west get worked up whenever PS is mentioned or pointed out, when korean parents gift their kids double eyelid surgery as a graduation present :-*

like everyone does PS it's not a big deal. a lot of people in the west also does fillers and PS. like a LOT of people

i dont get people who are weird about it in 2025. EVERYONE does it :deadbanana2:

Not to be messy but why are the gays are always speaking on the SM girls ps. BP and the entire industry just have as much ps if we're being perfectly honest :suburban:

At the end of the day, its their job to look good on cameras. we can't fault them :bird:

All the discussion so far has been neutral without negative connotations. I think you assumed that bringing it up was equal to shaming them for the decision, which it isn't.

It's just something you notice about idols you stan already because you're also curious about them as a person, you care what kind of mental state they're in.

The reason why skz probably aren't on that Forbes Korea list is not because they're broke but it also includes relevance in Korea in there ranking and well…

i mean… being popular in korea is often being looked down upon by some users but it's usually where most of the money is for kpop idols. aespa made MILLIONS of dollars from domestic music sales alone

I literally didn't like how many times are you here has been discussing and bringing the same topic every 3 business days, it's getting exhausting

I have no place to be nosy what they do in their faces. It's their bodies, their choices, they are all grown adults   :flower2:

!!!

It's kind of telling how sensitive the other aespa stans here are about the topic :deadbanana2: nobody even tried to make it a big deal or say that it wasn't the norm

I couldn't care less what those girls did or will do to their faces in their careers. I only comment on Taeyeon because I've been following her music and personal life for years.

It's not something that's taboo or offensive to discuss. If you didn't view it as such a sin, you wouldn't be so defensive about it being bought up.

It is a choice that we are allowed to discuss in here, just like how we discuss musical, styling and performance choices that contribute to a celebrity's image.

any acts is lucky if their videos can manage 50M at this climate

That's true, but unfortunately, the marriage still "destroyed" his solo career. Before that, he managed to get hits and had a good reputation.

true but it does get looked down upon still outside of the influencer bubble

in korea when you are beautiful people don't care that you got your face reconstructed to get there, in the west you'll get dragged for being plastic/fake

kpop stans always want their faves to be the best, so admitting they tried to fix something less perfect is a no go

korea is much more progressive when it comes to PS, even tho it's kinda for the wrong reasons? (pretty privilege)

it's pretty interesting really

He just kept having sex, and that fact was disappointing.

Did you even read what were you quoting? I said you guys are always talking about it as if you your lives depends on it. You are the one who seems more defensive

If they are getting Botox, fillers and nose jobs every other Tuesday. what are you doing to do about it?   :bird:

I'm sure she knows, but I hope she gets reminded often that she doesn't sell out arenas in 2025 primarily because she's pretty or looks young.

I mean, she is pretty, but I bought the ticket because of her voice. That's her biggest and most unique asset and she doesn't need to visit Dr. Kim to improve that.

There's nothing wrong with that, he's an adult, but his delusional fanbase…  :rip:

HANDS UP is a bop. I already loved the chorus because it's been teased for a week, but the rest of the song lives up to it :heart2: I hope they keep doing outros and dance breaks with their uptempo songs

Personally, it's my first time posting about Taeyeon and her PS. Not sure why some other idols got dragged in.

But I get it. Sometimes, when the shoe fits, some fanbases want to wear it at every chance they get.
