there's literally reddit threads from five years ago that can be easily found already exposing hybe's connections with danworld

not the literal reddit threads from five years ago exposing ILLIT's magnetic (2024) for spreading signature danworld hand exercises and LSF's (2022) pagan ritual burning of the witches GFRIEND

Ugh idk how to feel about this….

They were the perfect group to go into the Pussycat Dolls/2000s Timbaland sound and aesthetic, because they have the talent, skills and looks to pull it off…but HYBE is making them cater to a kpop audience with this pots and pans girl crush music :rip:

Either NJ copy pasta or BP 2.0 music :rip:

touch was perfect .. no way they made me wait almost a year for this song

and le sserafim and katseye being active like that on twitter is throwing me off a bit, it seems SO random

girl don't be slow 😭😭 that user talked about hybe's cult allegations and i'm saying these allegations have been here and real for years around the same stuff. BTS members enrolled and PROMOTED a university linked to that cult leader and the university in question teaches brain education which was brought up again last year

Edited by Windy Day

also i dont get why it would be hard to believe. korea is literally PLAGGED with cults. jyp is heavily linked with the salvation sect and he made his own weird religious group as well :deadbanana2:

people in korea don't even talk to people on the street because 9 out of 10 it's a cult trying to get you

it's funny because i'm reading the forbes report right now and they count global streaming revenues, sales revenues, concert revenues etc…

i was told stray kids was the biggest 4th gen kpop group… why don't they make the same money… or more money than aespa?

more importantly, we've learned that stray kids are broke

"In addition, domestic and international data sources, interviews, National Tax Service records, and court cases were consulted. The main sources of income for celebrities were limited to music sales, performances, film, television, and advertisement fees, salaries, and prize winnings."

from Forbes' report. why aren't they on the list :eatpopcorn:

i mean… being popular in korea is often being looked down upon by some users but it's usually where most of the money is for kpop idols. aespa made MILLIONS of dollars from domestic music sales alone

Girl, it literally takes 10 seconds of looking at the list to understand that it's based on power and influence in Korea, not actual overall income. Unless you seriously believe that DAY6 (who are on the list) make more money than Stray Kids, when JYP himself, the literal head of the company, has openly stated that Stray Kids and TWICE are the main breadwinners of JYP :rip:

The company's revenue reports are public, and it's clear how much money Stray Kids bring in, which is why JYP is currently the most profitable K-pop company, unlike SM, who actually reported financial losses in their latest reports.

Stray Kids also took a six-month break during the tracking period, meaning they had fewer domestic activities, fewer TV appearances, and fewer brand deals compared to groups that were consistently active in Korea.

The reality is that Stray Kids don't have the same domestic media influence, brand deals, and exposure in Korea as the acts who made the Top 40, and that's why they weren't included.

If this was a true overall income list, it would look completely different, and BTS and BLACKPINK members would obviously be ranked much higher too.

The Forbes Korea Power Celebrity 40 ranks celebrities based 50% on estimated income and 50% on domestic influence. Stray Kids earn tens of millions globally through albums, tours, endorsements, streams etc. but because they focused more internationally in 2024 and had fewer domestic activities compared to groups like aespa or DAY6, they weren't ranked this year. Not being on the list doesn't mean they make any less money,  it means their domestic media presence was temporarily lower, while their global success remained huge.

And also, they have also been included in these type of lists before as the only group

Me having a "meltdown", and it was literally you having 5 different posts talking about whether Stray Kids makes money or not :rip:

I literally just debunked all of your claims and ended you :dies:

And you truly have to be slow, if you truly believe aespa makes more money than Stray Kids :rip: Do you also believe that aespa makes more money than BTS and BP overall? :ahh:

ngl but sometimes i truly believe some of yall are having trouble understanding the tone of people's posts

maybe we should start using tone indicators :skull: /srs

also, yes. it's totally believable that aespa made more money than BP and BTS during that tracking period since

blackpink aren't counted as a group but individual members are still high on the list

many BTS members can't make money because they're in the military, as stated earlier

Also they probably get less brand deals without a strong domestic base

2 hours ago, Windy Day said:

well yes :rip:  stray kids for example has 0 active deal in korea right now. apparently they only have 1 worldwide in japan

Stray Kids literally have tons of global brand deals :rip: They are literally the brand ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger, hence why they were also invited to Met Gala last year by Tommy Hilfiger himself:

The members also have solo brand deals:

Hyunjin - Versace, Cartier Jewelry, Givenchy Beauty

Felix - Louis Vuitton, Gentle Monster,

Bang Chan - Fendi

I.N - Bottega Veneta

Lee Know - Will most likely be announced as Gucci ambassador soon

Seungmin - Working with Burberry right now

These are all the magazine covers of the SKZ members from 2025 alone so far:

All those royalties from being #1 on the bubbling under Korea chart add up. If Felix saves up he'll be able to buy his own purse by this time next year:sabrina:

Don't worry about Felix, when he's literally the 4th gen idol with the highest global engagements :ahh:

And isn't your favorite company literally known for underpaying their idols :deadbanana4:
