At least she released albums, my good sis Sunmi doesn't even have a full album yet and she's been a soloist since 2014 

well at least Sunmi actually was among the biggest female soloists at one point and has several smashes under her belt, so at least she has that to her credit. Poor Somi at the end of the day tbh, all that potential lost because of all that time wasted by Teddy.

SM shareholders have been pushing for idols without human rights since day one. 

Billboard as an organization is a racist POS. Their rule changes always line up with releases from stan-driven Asian acts, it's not a coincidence imo that there was yet another album chart reform after black pink carpet bombed the 200. Several previous reforms openly targeted BTS as well.

 

Kpop fans need to start taking notice and fighting back instead of celebrating that groups they don't like are getting knocked down a peg.

The fact that Eunbin was shoe in to be in IOI, she went from top 10 (Cube announced her debuting with CLC) then her ranking kept dropping but was still there until the 10th episode. She was getting edited out of the show.

From what we've learned about how these shows work over the years, we can just assume she was never meant to be in I.O.I.  She was just in the show for the promo.  CJENM were the distributor for CLC (one of the changes that came with iHQ running things; Cube normally used Universal) and were on board with the idea of Eunbin debuting in CLC immediately after she got screwed for the sympathy, after all people who lose in these audition shows tend to have better careers than those who win! 

 

The problem occurred when Produce101 became a smash hit and unexpectedly got extended about 3 weeks past when the show was scheduled to end, which turned simple rigging into a colossal mess as CLC just delaying their comeback by a month became impossible because Cube was trying to thread this needle of expiring contracts and contractual obligations that could not be changed for CLC.  So, CLC became the first victim of the post-I.O.I curse.
