this whole year with ADP, Cortis, and now the Yseult issue I'm starting to see that despite years of outcry over these things, the company idols and fans don't care— so much so that vitriol that K-pop fans have towards black people who call them out is worse than the outrage to the actual plagiarism and appropriation. I appreciate groups that just sing and do their thing and don't need to do blackface

I find it funny that users were discussing about KOREAN charts and then we have that SKZ stan SCREAMING about global sales/streams etc

 

In this case, i guess i can use my fave Taylor Swift's Showgirl USA sales which outsold SKZ's discography sales in USA, in a week

Tbh I appreciate Yseult and fans of both correcting the infos, but the people going about Yseult weight, colors or calling her an anti feminist because of mistaking Soyeon as the main artist, that went too far.

And in that 3 months she prepared the album on her own, she dmed and emailed the writers, producers and creative directors on her own without Starship knowledge, she recorded Number One Rosé Stan & Body and then presented the project to Starship and they approved the thing once it was done. SHE PICKED everything. 

 

Fun Fact she also said she's the one who contacted every idols to do the challenges and they all agreed. In her interview she said she's the luckiest girl because everyone in the idustry actually agreed to help her even the journalist.
 

 

The fact that song is still climbing. 

 

The fact that her and EXY LIED and Flew out in the US and they came back with her album... EXY is the best leader ever.

Having both of his groups releasing 15 days apart was not a good idea

I don't think she paid for all the things, because even Kim Shi Dae (Starship CEO) took the credits as the executive producer, despite not being aware of the album's creation.

 

But then again WJSN has some filthy rich members...

She allocated her budget to have the greatest impact, doing things she could do herself rather than having to pay staff to do it allowing money to be spent on the discovery side of the promo.

I'm sorry but  aespa still haven't even surpassed SKZ's 2nd world tour (Maniac), let alone their 3rd world tour (DominATE). Like why would you even say that? 
And let's not forget - SKZ's 1st world tour was also cancelled because of Covid, so don't even try to bring that up, and compare it to aespa's tour.

 

I don't even understand why you would bring up touring, and setting up aespa though?

Like if you honestly believe aespa will pull off a tour on the same scale as SKZ's DominATE tour anytime soon, then there's really no point in continuing this debate - you're beyond saving, bestie
