Um...i have so many mixed feelings about this

 

 

first of all...Twice did well despite the toned down, almost monotonous stage design and lighting and camera work during their section. I mean wtf was that, literally the section before and after theirs was so much more well managed and intriguing, even during Madison Beer's stage despite her lipsyncing the whole time. I see the point of using the PINK section for Twice because it's very on-brand for them but it could have been set up and structured way better.

 

also Tzuyu girl...  I mean I believe when she said she's sick because she usually sings Strategy really well, but i'm thinking she wasnt a good choice for this stage. Girlie has never been bold enough to be on a stage like this. Also why was she singing Jeongyeon's lines on This Is For, she doesnt have Jeong's range nor projection for a live performance. 

 

Nayeonce, Jihyonce and Momoriah did well but they were barely focused by the camera the whole time, and the choreo wasnt really needed when the models were walking lol. 

And I know people say Sana could have been a better choice but honestly her and Tzuyu are kinda the same vocally, Sana probably would have flirted with the camera better though.

After all the acclaim and positive reception for Lollapalooza, I guess a messy stage like this once in a while wont hurt too much

How many times have I told you that aespa are indeed way bigger than SKZ in Korea?  Like, we know that. But the difference between me and you is that I can admit when my faves are being outperformed by someone else, while you cannot. Sometimes you're just stubborn, trying to claim things about aespa that are way beyond what they can handle - like saying aespa are globally bigger than SKZ who are literally the 3rd most global K-pop group after BTS and BLACKPINK.

Girl, it's also hard to compare tour numbers when aespa aren't even fully reporting their tours. But trust me - if they were hitting those revolutionary numbers you claim, SM wouldn't miss a chance to report them.

If you look at SKZ's tour numbers, you can see the insane evolution - each tour grows massively, with attendance and revenue increasing over 20x from their first tour to their latest. That's not the same case with aespa. They still haven't even surpassed SKZ's 2nd world tour, "Maniac".

I hate to admit this, but Tzuyu is the definition of being drop dead gorgeous, but having zero charisma especially on stage. She simply doesn't know what to do with all of that beauty she has. I feel like her and Mina are too introverted for the celebrity life sometimes if that makes sense, but I'm still glad the queens debuted in TWICE and I couldn't imagine the group without them

The performance was indeed bad and messy 

Maybe we need aespa to quickly perform in the US again or something, and shift the focus away from TWICE

Not too much on Mina, she has her own distinct aura that more than compensates for her introvertedness. She's  a very engaging performer on stage and knows when to turn on the sexiness, has one of the prettiest vocal tones in music and possesses her own unique elegance that's VITAL to Twice. 
 

and we should give Tzuyu some grace because she does have some vocal chops when she's in her zone, is a good technical dancer and has definitely given much more engaging performances before this. And she's improved a lot in the vocal category but I think she's the best example of a 'studio singer' if we had to choose someone from Twice who may or may not have the same effect when she's singing on stage. The best example of that is basically her sharing her lines in Twice with Jeongyeon mostly in the prechoruses, but when she sings live she struggles while Jeongyeon effortlessly sings them with power. So Tzuyu does have more to offer than her supermodel looks, but it's kinda limited.

It's ok sis, twice Can afford bad performances every once in a while because theyve been literally performing everywhere this year. Like do these girls sleep? 
also I realized they could have lipsynced like Madison but chose not to. Either way, they still have Lollapalooza as one of their best this year 

Logical choice because ADP is too big to ignore. MMA will probably do the same
