Look, it's great for them that they have managed to get a little more recognition, a talent like Lily M especially should be getting more than she has.

 

But I think the people already claiming they are "smashing" are misunderstanding the K-charts (whether genuinely or on purpose).

 

They were #11 with barely 26k ULs and at midnight. So currently, it's clearly not a smash or even a GP hit at this stage.

I knew taking Tzuyu to VSFS was a bad idea, like this ain't Korea, looking pretty isn't gonna cut it. They tried giving her some higher notes in the last single and a solo debut to fool people into thinking she could sing, but her voice has no support. I knew that the moment live singing a lot of lines would be involved her lack of skill would show up again. Like Sana was right there, she's not a vocalist (no one is TWICE besides the vocal line is) but at least she wouldn't have been that embarassing (or literally anyone else but Tzuyu). Tbh all of them except Jihyo looked very tired and didn't serve much charisma, even Nayeon sounded out of breath sometimes that I could argue she did worse than Momo (although Nayeon's lines are harder so there's that). I don't think TWICE does well in the western style of performing, when it doesn't envolve the usual group choreography. I never thought they were you know great performers (we can agree to disagree if you think they are) but I think performances like these really show their weaknesses. It kinda reminds me of when they would perform those flop TT remixes on award shows and it would look boring and bland.

Tzuyu is the member who looks like a runway model, so it makes sense why should be there. But yeah, if I had to narrow it down to 4 people, I would replace Tzuyu with Sana as well.

But honestly, every member should've been there instead of just 4 members, cause it's 9 or none

I'm sure a lot of the roughness of that performance was having to block a completely unique performance amidst a world tour (and I imagine that 4 version mix was last minute)

 

im curious to know the origin around only having 4 members go. It could have been decent with better strategic line distribution. Like why give tzuyu most of jengyeons lines
