they need to leave fr this time since they never put out a new song and the tour is long over  YG continuing to treat his girl groups like tax right offs this day and age is exhausting. Meanwhile the Pinks are definitely performing their solo songs on tour as expected  everyone probably getting 3 songs each

I’m one of the people who enjoy Tarzzan’s work, and I’m also Black and Latino. I’m not going to overlook the fact that his “koriggafication” is a real problem. It’s unnecessary, offensive, and I consistently call it out when I see it, no matter how talented or attractive I think he is.

 

This kind of exaggerated performance of Black culture might come from a place of admiration, but it still ends up being a caricature. As someone from the culture, I know how damaging that can be. Just because he loves U.S. hip-hop does not give him a pass to embody a stylized, stereotyped version of what some executives think Blackness looks like. It’s unacceptable, full stop.

 

This isn’t how he presented himself as a model, influencer, or dancer before TBL. That makes it clear to me that the label’s executives are pushing this image. It’s not just disappointing. It’s calculated, and it’s exploitative.
