That's because aespa were already established and were literally 2 years into their career during that period, while the others were rookies except for i-dle.

And Wonyoung was definitely the #1 it-girl of 4th gen during 2022-2023. Though Karina is undoubtedly the #1 it-girl today

aespa isn't a 4th gen leader was a bogus narrative crafted by bitter antis. They have been near the top in EVERY metric while their peers struggle to stay on top in only one or two.

Groups like IVE, i-dle, NewJeans, and LE SSERAFIM all consistently performed better than aespa with their comebacks overall between 2022-2023. 

 

During 2022-2023 when you look at their eras both domestically and globally:

 

i-dle had: Tomboy - NXDE - Queencard

 

IVE had: Eleven - Love Dive - After Like - Kitsch - I AM - Baddie

 

LE SSERAFIM had: Fearless - ANTIFRAGILE - Unforgiven - EP&TBW - Perfect night

 

And I don't need to bring up NewJeans, since they had the biggest Kpop peak since BTS and BP during that period. 

 

Again, aespa are bigger than all of them today except for NJ who they will also end up outlasting as well. Like I am indeed giving aespa their flowers, but saying groups like IVE etc. weren't bigger than them during 2022-2023 is not true.

Objectively the highest selling album out of the three, highest average sales, and 2nd in total sales only to IVE, on account of them having one more release. and again, aespa was selling out ARENAS during the Girls era and STADIUMS during the My World era. It's exactly like I told you in my last post, they have been trading off the #1 4th gen sales spot with IVE since debut, and aespa's imperial phase is lasting much longer. aespa completely outclasses IVE in streams as well, and outside of Spotify, has since IVE debuted.

and if we talk about the music you'll say that the numbers must be bad if we don't discuss them. This is why anti-sheeps don't deserve rights. aespa was far more acclaimed for their music and performances than two of those three groups and the only one on par with them is the least successful of the bunch.

So now sales are the #1 metric in Kpop that determines who are bigger or not? 

 

Also, the only stadium aespa performed at in 2023 was Tokyo Dome - which every other group listed here has performed at or will perform at, except for (G)I-DLE. Keep in mind, aespa were almost 3 years into their career during that period, while the others were still rookies.

 

Anyways, I don't know why this became such a big discussion, when I just responded to a user about why people didn't put aespa in the top 4 back then, which is kinda irrelevant today, since aespa are the #1 4th gen gg right now

Like even I can admit that my faves SKZ weren't the biggest 4th gen group during 2018-2019 with groups like IZ*ONE, ITZY, i-dle, TXT all being bigger than them  

Or how NewJeans gave them a run for their money during 2022-2023
