Is Chappell's "TFM" inevitable?

Featured Replies

I feel that she has risen the same way Gaga has, with similar allegations and comparisons. Both GLB and Bad Romance have similar themes in terms of song-writing.

What do we think? Is her TFM coming?

Yes. Hers will be titled "This Fame Is A Monster and I Don't Want It".    This will be the artwork:

No, she's not a cultural event like Gaga was back in the day tbh

She doesn't like the industry (rightfully so), so I don't see her ever having an era as big as TFM. She can't even bring herself to make a video for GLB like... I think she'll have a great career but not with the peaks that Gaga had

oh baby, she don't even have a Just Dance to begin with

She does not have the artistry, the work ethic or vision to pull off a TFM era

Sorry

We're going directly to her Joanne era, haven't you heard her new single?

Oh we will lose it when she releases her Harlequin. :ryan3:

OT: I don't think so. She is capable of doing it, but she just doesn't want it.

For TFM Gaga was promoting on every single corner of earth, putting herself on debt for the tour's production and working her ass off on every music video. Chappell is quite literally doing the entire opposite on all of the above.

Are you talking about Gaga's modern pop output?

Because I agree

:coffee2:

She could, but probably won't.  I mean she has an album that's smashing without any big hits on it, and her biggest hit doesn't even have a music video.

If she releases a new album with 4 or so singles, that all get proper single treatment with music videos, I feel she would easily smash again with all the hype.

More and more it's looking like her Shawn is coming.

lol she doesn't have what it takes to release something as big and iconic like TFM

her Cannibal maybe

If her snl live becomes viral as paparazzi of gen z and announce album by first quarter next year then that's seem on path.

Or she might pull ashley simpson to be dealt with...

Miss ma'am can't even bother to shoot a music video

I mean, her alberm's title alone is conceptually close to what gA Ga was aiming for with TF/TFM and her public demeanor hints at the direction she may be heading in, if her sophomore record keeps the personal, self expression approach. It would be fiting.
