This CLICKED on my long run yesterday, it is immaculate and I had to go back and play it over and over again

This is a bop. Out of all the LM girls, she has released the best songs so far in my opinion. She is 3/3 for me and i look forward to her album.

I fear that this is simply too excellent for the masses to understand, a pop intellectual if ever there was one

There are so many subtleties and nuances to enjoy in this song if you take the time to properly listen to it, it has very high replay value for me personally.

 

I do think that AOMD has a more instantly recognisable and memorable "hook" but this has a silky smooth quality to it, I can't help but listen to it on repeat. The outro is definitely the highlight of the song, that part alone is worth a few more replays. 

 

I do hope that this finds a way to connect with a wider audience. I am sure she'll win a few more people back over when That's Showbiz, baby! drops though as I have a feeling that will become a camp instant gay classic.

this has grown on me a lot but i do think it's an odd choice for a single. she set the bar so high with AOMD and i think people are disappointed she did this chill discoy song instead of another big banger, and it doesn't really sound like a hit anyway even though im personally enjoying it

gurl just drop the It Girl track, i revisit the snippet everyday now 

I still think the smartest thing to do would be to drop That's Showbiz, baby! as a promo track next month alongside an album pre order and then release FUFN in January, alongside the album.

 

I love this song and still remain hopeful it will turn out to be a minor hit for her, but as we've seen with Leigh and Perrie it's an *extremely* uphill battle to get your song to make any kind of impact if you don't have any Spotify support from day one. 
 

That's Showbiz, baby! will at the very least get her some kind of viral moment based on the reaction to the snippet and the demand for it, that would only benefit album pre orders. Then she can go again and give FUFN the big radio/promo push to really sell it.

 

Her biggest problem at the moment is just a lack of visibility and profile. The music is great, but hardly anyone knows who she is or that she's releasing music, she needs to be on TV more. Jools was perfect for her, she needs to be following that up with Graham Norton, Strictly, an EMAs performance would be a dream for her.

Sunday updates miss out streaming data, pretty sure it includes physicals and downloads (I could be wrong so happy to be corrected if anyone knows better!)
