Public consciousness and achieving prominence. Also, she was never nominated for a Grammy nor submitted more than 3 times in the BNA category.

Shaboozey and Benson are likely in the race too. I hope Sabrina gets it as her winning in another category is less likely than Chappell doing so

Tyla already won a Grammy this year so she isn't eligible for Best New Artist.

Shaboozey will probably do a H.E.R. and buy the award. I'm hoping Chappell takes it and not Sabrina who is NOT a new artist.

I don't think Sabrina will be nominated because like mentioned it before, she achieved moderate success with EICS. I think Chappell and some of the other guys mentioned have more chances.

If Sabrina wins she really should thank Gaga on stage because if it wasnt for Gaga back then, the Grammys wouldnt have changed the rules. 

 

Chappel could pull a Xtina/Britney and win over Sabrina tho. 

It's between Chappell and Shaboozey imo - He's got 5 weeks at #1 and will probably be the only country artist represented.
