Neither is the best these legends are capable of.

 

Joanne laid the groundwork for a massive comeback, whereas CC ruined the momentum of a massive comeback. Joanne is probably more iconic for that reason but decades from now when either of them die, these will not be the albums reaching #1 again.

CC is better, neither are iconic or remembered but TEXAS is bigger than Million Reasons… there's that I guess

Foie gras is a good comparison because the BeyHive shoved Cowboy Carter down our throats and said it was amazing when it was actually mid.

 

Better - JOANNE, more cohesive.. Texas is better than anything from Joanne tho but CC is too boring and snoozefest thanks to its length

 

Iconic? - CC i think, but JOANNE also has the ICONIC Hat

 

Remembered? - idk about this, CC is dropping like a BOMB and JOANNE isnt exactly remembered either (even from her own fanbase who despised the genre).. but at least MILLION REASONS is fairly remembered

Unlike a lot of people, I loved Joanne. It's in my top 3 Gaga albums. I also love Cowboy Carter. It's my favorite Beyoncé album.

 

Joanne definitely has more longevity for me, but I think I'll vote for Cowboy Carter as the better one.

I think Cowboy Carter is already iconic when, unlike Joanne, it actually yielded a #1 hit, a hit that's still smashing in Europe of ALL places  also, CC is already in the history books for what it has done for black Country artists and the new chart records Beyoncé has set with it. Don't know why that's being ignored. Also, it will absolutely be more remembered because it is part of a big trilogy, which is unprecedented by a mpg to be doing. 

 

Anyway, Cowboy Carter with half of its tracks alone is better than Joanne... and I kinda like Joanne. 

CC is the worse album, but it'll be more remembered. Only LMs and ATRL know of Joanne.

Cowboy Carter

Sorry but CC is just the better album. More depth, more ambition, better execution. Also, it doesn't have Come to Mama, possibly the worst Gaga song ever.

Really don't like either of them but Joanna did have John Wayne and Perfect Illusion 

 

 

CC is superior duh.

 

Joanne will be remembered more though because of the millions of people who typed "yo" when searching for Youtube and got redirected to A-Yo on Joanne instead 

Pretty big fan of Gaga and Beyonce but I don't really like either of these albums very much. Joanne is just a straight misfire that should never have been made and Cowboy Carter was kinda enjoyable on first impression but I have never gone back to it because it's not really that memorable to me even if it's better than Joanne from a quality standpoint
