it's not as bad as you say, but he is 50 years old.  Maybe he's just out of touch. 

Here I am dying in bed (Sick ;~:), I Woke Up got me picturing brighter days. Such an explosion of positivity that song.

(Most of) These songs aren't horrible but are extremely mid. But his 2023 songs are better than majority of this album imo. Maybe it's because they were mainly rappers who write their own verses. Controversy aside, he used to deliver at least a few irresistible earworms. This album is lacking that unfortunately. Maybe he's really done for now

the bonus tracks should've been on the standard, the album sounds really cohesive as it is but these would've given it more depth.

 

I Woke Up sounds on trend and catchy, No Tears is really good, the lyrics show a deeper side. I'm sure critics would've enjoyed and haters can't say it's just generic dance songs. Has a Heart is cute, it's a bit too out of place tho so bonus track is understandable.
