Doja Cat's third studio album, Planet Her, was released on June 25, 2021.

Combining multiple genres of R&B, Pop and Rap, among others, the era went on to become a massive commercial success, spawning the iconic top 10 singles "Kiss Me More" feat. SZA, "Need to Know" and "Woman" as well as "You Right" with The Weeknd and "Get Into It (Yuh)".

 

Doja and SZA later went on to earn their first Grammy award for KMM.

The album also won Top R&B Album at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards and Favorite Soul/R&B Album at the 2022 American Music Awards. ()

Kiss Me More and Need To Know two of the best songs ever 

it's a huge achievement but, having coincidentally played it thru last night/this morning, i still kinda think it's a good rather than great album, there's the odd dodgy ballad here and there and the deluxe was a bit lame.

 

when it's good it's incredible tho, "naked", "kiss me more", "i don't do drugs" and "love to dream" are all timers

her only mistake was putting Why Why on the deluxe instead of Imagine/Payday

obviously the era itself was iconic but I think that people do overlook the fact planet her is a really good and consistent album on its own

It's a great album, maybe the only thing that would've pushed it a little more to a 10 is a more vulnerable track, Been Like This is as vulnerable as it gets, but it's an album I can totally listen from beggining to end

Don't forget Ain't $h!t was a top 30 hit as well
