cried a lot watching her bonaroo performance, like we really are witnessing a superstar born.

 

her energy, her style, her personality...everything about her it's just so good its making me cry, i just hope she can deal with fame, and that she doesnt become a OHW.

i have seen everybody on the internet talking about chappell, so i searched her name on yt and watched this performenace,

Tried to get tickets for her Nashville show. Was sitting in the waiting room before presale started, then when it refreshed and put me in the queue, I was 31,311 in line. I texted a friend saying I wasn't getting tickets, and he said he was 40something thousandth in line.

Shooting my shot one more time when/if general public sale happens tomorrow, but I've already let go of my hope to attend lmao

I know she's preppin for the next leg of the tour and (hopefully) having some well-deserved down-time, but god I miss waking up to new concert vids every day

is it me or her last performances she seems to lack energy or emotion? i compare bonnaroo with lolla or osheaga and idk she doesn't talk much, or doesn't transmit as much as before, i just hope she is dealing well with fame.

Ugh the album has been on repeat for the last month and a half and I like it more and more every day.

Best debut in a long time imo

 

The base is so dead, any reason why? 

she's having such a zeitgeist-y moment in pop culture right now, it's interesting to see others witness a rising pop star in real time and having all the buzz in this way/ with pop music enthusiasts, knowing how the trajectory of a career could be going anywhere is bewildering    it's exciting but also nerve wracking at the same time

 

it's good that chappell has expressed some conscientiousness to set boundaries for her own sake
