TTPD comes out on top, but it's extremely close. However, TTPD doesn't suffer from the low low lows of Red (Stay Stay Stay, Girl At Home, Message In A Bottle, Run) so it is not that close actually.

Surprised it was as close as it was for me. I suppose it's because RED's vault tracks are quite strong while The Anthology's second half has a lot of sleepy duds

I think you're right about this being the biggest differentiator when comparing them, because otherwise it seems like they almost go head to head.

I usually don't like this track vs track comparison because one album may have higher highs but also lower lows. So I usually just plot the songs that I REALLY love from each album:
