Two of the most problematic pop girls on ATRL but who at least releases quality pop music?

Why do I have to delete one? Why can't I like them both and just like one more lol

I enjoy the music of both artists but Kim is an artist. She has an ear for pop melodies and she's actually a great vocalist and songwriter. She's individual and has her own niche personality and sound. Ava feels more like a cheap parody of a pop star you'd see in a Disney channel movie. She's not bad. She's a good singer and has put out some bops but her and Kim just aren't on the same level artistically or intellectually.

Kim is that girl

Ava is a sample girl can't come up with an original melody to save her life

Kim Petras by FAR. Her recent work might be weak but TOTL alone is better than Ava's discography.

I'll keep the one with a #1 and a grammy for her non sampled work please 🤷‍♀️

:clap3:

I know Kim's artistry has been somewhat diluted and tainted in recent years, thanks to Republic Records desperately trying to turn her into a MPG, but when she's at her indie-pop bubblegum-pop dance-floor banger best, she can't be stopped. Awesome she got that success with "Unholy", and fair enough she tried to sustain it with "Alone" but alas, we've all had enough of samples and stuck culture. Problematique is where its at.

Also I saw Kim and Ava back-to-back at Sydney World Pride and Kim easily smashed it out the park compared to the lack-luster sample chanteuse.

Choker, an unreleased Kim song, is better than Ava's whole discography

Ava is a better performer though

This is extremely hard but at the end of the day, Kim is ccccunt personified. Her Halloween projects alone **** on every single new girl's entire discogs + Beyonce's and Xtina's.

Id say Kim because shes not a cover artist but her she has never topped her song from 5 years ago while ava can at least deliver bops

I'm a Bunhead so obviously i prefer Kim, but i enjoy Ava's discog too.

However, Ava doesn't really evolved or changed her sound (for better or worse). It's like she's still stuck with the H&H sound (80s inspired dance-pop with samples all over it) while Kim already explored multiple genres and personas while keeping things very pop and cohesive for her brand.

Ava needs to explore more and go out of her box.

Kims first 3 projects (era 1, clarity, TOTL) wash most pop girls discographies. I would honestly say feed the beast and problematique are pretty on par with Ava's albums and I would probably prefer diamonds and dance floors the most of those 4 but like I said Kim clearly wins for those first 3 projects she released.

Kim has the bigger and better discography. Ava has some solid tunes but she's getting the delete button here.
