Happy for You is the perfect last song. So dreamy.

Happy for You is the standout

My Radical Optimism conclusion:

End Of An Era is her best album opener WAIT

Okay being real I'm not completely gagged or blown away after my first listen, maybe because it's late at night and I haven't fully processed the songs yet.. it's definitely cute and a complete shift from what we initially expected after the first single last year

I hope we dont have to wait long for LP#4. There's no hits on this album just good songs. Houdini really was the perfect first single.

I KNOW YOU'RE SOMEWHERE IN HIS HEART!

MARIA!

DUDUDUDUUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUUUUUU!

it's definitely not a heavy hitter like FN was, but it's more tasteful and will age like a fine wine i feel like

Maria needs to be a summer smash

End of an Era - 9

Houdini - 10

Training Season - 9,5

These Walls - 10

Whatcha Doing - 9,5

French Exit - 9

Illusion - 10

Falling Forever - 10

Anything For Love - 9,5

Maria - 10

Happy For You - 1000000

My ******* god she decided to leave all us bald with this album. If you search for pop perfection in the dictionary, Radical Optimism will show up. I adore every single song here. I'm speechless.

No same sis, it's a good album but I feel it's not touching the highs on FN for me. Still gonna use it the whole summer though!

Happy For You and These Walls are the only songs I felt like playing again.. so far

Yes FN was a SLAP IN THE FACE world stop moment and this is a SOPHISTICATED bottle of wine for evolved European taste buds

the stanning and all these summery lush album comments

HOW LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

Falling Forever - LOVE!! This is also the sound I was expecting from this album.

Anything For Love - I know there are better songs in the vault… def my least favorite so far.

Maria - Oh the first second the guitar started YES. Loved it.

Happy For You - It's good but not in love with it. Definitely the most different sounding song on the album, being the most psychedelic. Hopefully it'll grow on me.

A solid album overall. She definitely released the obvious singles first. Next single(s) should be These Walls or Whatcha Doing. We definitely need a deluxe in the fall with 4 or 5 new songs.

I feel like we all shared that first listen together, all of us right now in this thread.. and that's v sweet

thinking back to my first FN listen, peak Covid, my life was completely different then.. crazy!

americans might not get it i fear... this is imbued with european culture... her trips to spain and wherever was not for nothing! she said let me create my perfect mediterranean holiday soundtrack alboom

I'm at Falling Forever but I can already say that Future Nostalgia's crown is safe.

Watcha Doing the SMASH that you are.

The way people who got the album last week thought French Exit is the filler track when it doesn't even in the bottom 3

I'm so glad I never trust these british cigaretttes smh

Not gagging at this which makes me sad because I absolutely loved FN and even self titled.

These Walls and Whatcha Doin did absolutely nothing for me on first listen. Those last two tracks are stellar though.

Listening to the whole thing makes me even more confused about the whole album aesthetic too. Genuinely hope this grows on me.

Quite different from Future Nostalgia, haters will look like fools

These Walls is so catchy

‚anything for love' should've been a minute longer

very nice album overall

really enjoyed listening to it
