It sounds good but I’m getting Chloe In Pieces flashbacks. Where Chloe would've shined more on pop tracks like Have Mercy and Body Do but she pivoted to a more r&b, Summer Walker route for most of her debut. But I’m even more hesitant for this sound on Normani because she’s not known to be a vocalist. I think “Candy Paint” suits her better and should be the song getting teased

I think the melodies and stacking are beautiful. She seems to favor the mid tempo instrumentals but it does sounds dated and a lot like her other releases.
