Her new installement in **** Pop (**** Pop Miami) series received negative to mixed reception which is no better than the first. That's 3 bad projects in a row and one flop tour which means probably a massive debt

 

so what now? can Łukasz 'dr Luke' Alfred Gotwald fix this situation?

Considering he’s been bankrolling her career since day 1, I don’t think that’ll be a problem.  Her label knew who they were signing and thanks to artists like Charli XCX, it’s clear there is money in developing niche artists if they have a growing dedicated base.

Hmm she is the first major trans pop firl and has the lgbt community backing her which means she can always grow. maybe she will cross over at some point with a hit. What she is doing though is feeding  her base like a **** taylor swift

If she really wants to ever find some legitimate success for herself, she has to stop with the chronic Twitter stan coded meme music that she seems to be so infatuated with. But then again, maybe that infatuation is a reflection of her being where she wants to be already. Maybe she doesn't really want to be any bigger than she is currently. If that's her choice then I'd say she'll continue on the path she's on right now and be fine. But if she really wants more for herself, something is going to have to change.

Bad reviews mean nothing. Charlie Puth's 37 metacritic score for his debut didn't stop it from selling an equivalent of 13 Millio copies worldwide.  Acclaim =/= success. Panned albums can sell lol.

I was just generalizing. I thought Kims tour ended up selling better than what ticketmaster was showing. She may have had lots of last minute sales because I heard many state the venues were filled

I think she’s where she wants to be. She’s able to make new music and go on tour, what else does she need?
