Taylor is currently overexposed. It happens to every celebrity near the end of their imperial phase. She's likely to start experiencing backlash no matter what she does, especially when it's yet another album.

It was incredibly weird for anyone to take issue with Taylor’s in any way, like super ******* weird, but Beyoncé’s makes just as much sense, as the Super Bowl is basically the biggest advertising opportunity in American culture and any industry should be fair game.

Of course all this is hypocritical, but Beyoncé's announcement, just like Taylor's, is perfectly ok. 

 

It just explains why the temper tantrums of OTHs are useless (except for increasing Taylor's popularity) and not taken seriously. 

 

Between the announcement, the jet situation, the "not acknowledging" a legend... all of this is double standard when it comes to Taylor and other celebrity.

Well, it’s a commercial and Beyonce paid for it, i think? She did not announce it live and it’s not like she went into the field after Usher’s performance and announce, “Hey, i’m releasing Renaissance Act II on March 29th and you guys can pre-order it now”. 

No, SB ads is all about promoting your brand, movie and music. Taylor chose to turn her speech into announcing her new album. Maybe she should’ve announced it during a Grammy advert. That’s the difference
