Justin Timberlake dropped his highly anticipated brand new single titled Selfish. However, Britney fans felt the urge to suddenly mass buy Britney’s “Selfish”… a 13 year old Britney Spears album track of the same name. All I wonder is why is this needed? Why are yall this unforgivable and obsessive towards JT? over a relationship that ended 22 years ago?

Ok now 20 years after we can reflect how media were different on the way the treat women or men and everything happened in that era  

But It's not like everything happened to this woman now is so directly JT fault. The real problems and issues were definitely others.

Girl, fans didn't support MYB because we hated the song, that's why there was no energy for it, it's that simple. Selfish however is a bop. The real question is why are you so bothered that fans are buying and streaming a song? It isn't that deep

I have read certain parts of it, and indeed, he did some bad stuff towards her and other women. However, witnessing Britney fans continuously fixate on this with his every move becomes tiring. Let me see if I’m understanding your post correctly… (checks notes)… Britney released her book late last year and a short 3ish months later her fans mass buy a song of hers because it has the same title as JT’s new single, probably because she informed the world about his trash attitude and actions. That relationship may have been over 22 years ago, but that book isn’t even a year old yet. Showing Britney some support while giving Justin the finger is far from the worst thing Britney Stan’s could do. Lemme go buy selfish on iTunes real quick.
