OT: Stupid Love is easily the worst if I'm being completely honest. Roar and even Me! are much better, fuller songs that derive more enjoyment.

it’s wild to me how Taylor can have such strong lyrical peaks but often lands in such a mediocre place with them.

The Stupid Love sneak, please  the video was campy, not childish

The song itself, though…

ctfu "ME!" is the only one here thats genuinely childish, and "stupid love" being here is just ludicrous

Stupid Love is the least offensive of them. The lyrics are subpar, but the beat is cool. I don't think it's childish, per say. I can't imagine being a Swiftie and feeling the excitement to press play on a lead single, just to end up getting Me. I would've sent Taylor an invoice for a refund.

 Versatility 

God these are such horrific songs it really makes you wonder how they even listened to them in the studio let alone went through the full recording process 

 

Out of all these options, I’ll go with Me! as the worst.

The others are actually ok 

Even as a Taylor stan ME! absolutely takes the cake 

SLAYke It Off doesn’t belong here!

Roar, ME! and SIO are meant to be corny. Stupid Love was supposed to be Gaga’s triumphant return to pop and in the end it just sent her back to where she was pre-ASIB
