This is such a Hayley thing to do. Paramore is a band, but Hayley will always bank the most. So excited to hear new versions of some of my favourites, can’t wait to see how she carves Jeremy and Josh out of the royalties.

Josh is a co-writer on the majority of their material from when he was in the band. There’s no way to cut him out. 

Call me crazy but I'm never going to get behind multimillionaires recording inferior versions of their discographies just to settle scores behind the scenes.

 

They might claim it's for a greater principle but my principle is it's wrong to exploit the goodwill of fans.

i hope it tanks and people dont follow this trend taylor popularized. it’s peak monoculture and just a rehash of what used to be. this rehashing of previous stuff is becoming so tiring and apparent in almost every part of the entertainment industry.

As a UK Paramore fan for the best part of 20 years - it pains me to say The Sun have always been accurate in their reporting of the band.

Watch the rearrange the songs themselves retaining only Hayleys original lyrics or something. Jeremy was quite clear about the way she handles finances and the disparity has been a bone of contention for years. I love the band, but I don’t buy that Hayley had no idea about the publishing situation with Good4U for a split second.

The Sun is not a very credible source so I'll take this with a grain of salt. Either way I would prefer new music

I’d prefer this over another album like This Is Why tbh, updated versions of Pressure and Emergency would end me
