We don't talk bout "Trust A Try" enough

Featured Replies

Is this the hit that got away?

Wit an official release and a music video...wat could have been

Ahead of its time is an understatement.  The first time I heard the song, I couldn’t even comprehend.

Could've been a cute top 5 hit if it was released as single instead of Poo of a gun but oh well.

The song could never be a hit with a title like that.

It took me almost a year to figure out what she was saying in the beginning :toofunny3:

but yes. she could have shook the table with this at that time (circa 2002). I also prefer it over SoaG.

Yes, she said on TRL “I’ll get around to Trust a Try” as in making it a single and doing a video for it, but it never happened allegedly bc of the Glitter mess. Who knows if that part of the alleged story is true, but it absolutely should’ve been a single over Son of a Gun.

Yes. Single order should have been:

1. All For You

2. Someone to Call My Lover

3. Trust a Try

4. Come on Get Up

She has so many potential singles throughout her discography. This would have made a great one, indeed!
