It is crazy that Shallow became a massive hit. They originally were going to push I’ll Never Love Again when the movie debuted, but because of demand they pushed Shallow instead 

 

Shallow is supposed to sound like a demo. It’s raw but somehow it resonated with people. I did not like it when I heard it the first time, but it has grown on me. It has become a big/unique hit for her

 

I guess I’ll pick Rain On Me. It is not as iconic as her other #1 hits. It’s not even her most iconic collab. It’s a good song though

TEOG would've also made a really strong lead. But even though BTW my least favorite number one from her, I'll always respect her for releasing it.

OMG, This was really hard to choose since I love every song on the list.

 

At the end I voted for Rain on Me. Still one of my favorite pop songs from 2020 though .

My least favorite would be Shallow. I've always found it terrible. There isn't a ballad from Gaga that I enjoy (except Speechless).

It's between BTW and Just Dance. The LG Guena Mix from Just Dance saves it however.

JD and PF are classics and are some of the best #1s of the 2000s

BTW's production has always sounded to me like she threw a few forks in a washing machine and started the spin cycle, and she really made it her life's work to fill every nanosecond of the mix with something aggressively loud

Shallow is a well remembered hit that's held up decently well with time

Piss On Me's moment has come and gone and it's totally forgotten at this point

Piss On Me being a #1 instead of God Romance, Marry The God, and Paparazzesus should be classified as a war crime
