Produced by Rick Rubin (also behind MUSIC FOR MEN). It was Rubin who encouraged the band to reunite and start recording again after they celebrated the album’s 10th anniversary with a tour in 2019.

 

‘Real Power’ was recorded at Rubin’s home studio in Kauai in between the COVID pandemic and lockdown, and comes described by a press release as “an 11-track celebration of creative expression, and the power of chosen family in the  aftermath of collective and personal trauma”.

ok can we talk about how Crazy Again is one of the most beautiful pop songs of the year? it just clicked for me, a true indie pop masterpiece

Glad they‘re back, Crazy Again has been on repeat for the past few days

They are touring? 

I could honestly see Real Power being one of the best indie pop songs of 2024, it's absolutely flawless  2 for 2, feels like this might be their best album idkkkkkk

I love it, I saw the video yesterday and had to re-watch. Beth is amazing.

Crazy Again really does sound like a classic pop song that was a lost hit maybe in the 80s it's truly pop perfection ugh
