Born To Die was not small. In fact it’s a lot bigger than Guts. Try again Byzantine.

I dare you to actually read the OP.

i always hate when people say Rihanna never had a huge peak as if she wasn't stomping on everyone hits wise from 2007-2013. and people are still streaming those songs

And you're wrong. You've been wrong multiple times in this thread.

I feel like the only answers are Selena, Demi, maybe Halsey? But she at least had one massive WW hit for Without Me. Alessia Cara could be another example, she had Here and the Zedd collab but that was her peak and I don't think her followups have done numbers of ANY kind.

Tinashe's one of my faves and her peak commercially was probably 2 On and didn't really last a long amount of time, but her artistic peak in her indie era hasn't shown the quality drop of Sel/Demi.

I feel like they're probably some british popgirls/groups who only ever had a hit or minor noteriety in the US that would also count on this side of the pond.

If the GP doesn’t know Midnights then they don’t know any Rihanna album either

:clack:

Christina Aguilera, she was always overshadowed and a distant second-place.

Hmm I trust you considering how wrong you have been in this thread.  You seem like an expert.

Good god swifties can't read or drag for **** :deadbanana4:

My fave Selena.
her truly commercial peak worldwide didnt even have an album (2017-2018 droplets, smash hits and reached (#1 Monthly Listener  — not only female — on Spotify). Revival was her peak in the USA.
i agree it feels not as big as the others. An album in 2017 could’ve changed things, but it is what it is. So her.

if Demi is a MPG, her too.

Edited by Selegend

The right answer is Paula Abdul.

One year of fame

Iggy Azelea

Irene Cara (Flashdance)

So I see you are in the denial stage of your personal journey.  I guess that makes sense for someone more dedicated to their fav’s music career than their fav.

Doja Cat probably.

EDIT: Or rather Selena Gomez / Demi Lovato if we also consider them MPGs.

Planet Her was #10 on the year end IFPI list in 2021 w/ Hot Pink still doing good because Streets smashed in early 2021.

Wow so Xtina's second best-selling album only outsold Britney's fourth highest-selling album (screaming at you bragging about that :rip:), which has not been updated in sales over the years?  Britney, the legend that you are :clap3:

?? literally Britney's music got certified about a month ago :gaycat7:

I don't understand, during their debut years yes Britney > Xtina (although X was the biggest female artist according to Billboard in 2000 (and 2003) :heart2: --- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_Music_Award_for_Top_Female_Artist), but later X outsold Britney :clap3:

Billboard ranks artists based on their album and singles chart performances and Xtina was outperforming Britney in the Billboard Hot 100 (since Britney's singles were not sold for public consumption). Britney was the bigger selling artist (AND the best-selling female artist of 2000) since her first two albums shifted over 15 million copies within a year WW. It's funny to see you even bring up 2000 when everyone knows it was Britney's year. :rip:

Yes...With her biggest album? Again, you don't compare someone's biggest album with their peer's fourth biggest album :rip:

But how?

Loud has singles with great recurring streams today

Why midnights singles except for AH are not even doing good atm

1. Yeah, because the label updates Christina's certificates every week.

2. Stripped is not X's best-selling album

3. you always find an excuse for everything

And you know what? Xtina you are such a legend, you still piss people off after all these years

I would have to say Camila Caballo.

She went from being one of the members of arguably the biggest girl group of all time to the biggest pop star in the world for a few years.

Third to Beyoncé. Fourth to P!nk. Fifth to Avril. Etc.

In reality nobody thinks Xtina outsold Britney.

Thank u, next is the only MPG "peak" era that has yet to cross 10M units worldwide. Some food for thought :lakitu:

Only your own alternative reality. In the real reality Xtina's last album with a #1 hit was released in 1999.

Just to put you in context Xtina's fourth album was Bionic which ended her career for good and Britney's was ITZ which spanned her biggest classic to date, a song that outstreams some of Xtina's full albums daily.
