Which polarizing album released by a pop titan is bigger, better, and more remembered?

Both albums deviated from their distinct sound and aesthetics

Both albums left their fanbases puzzled and split on if the albums are actually quality

Both are considered "flops" or "underperformances" quality wise

Both are considered their "worst" to many

Joanne

Madame X is actually a creative album. Joanne was made as a scheme to target an older generation of potential fans.

Madame X is actually a great album.

Joanne was obviously bigger sales wise. Although Joanne sold only 200,000 more releasing in 2016, it had bigger singles.

 

However, Madame X did have several Dance Club #1s prompting the release of Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones

Joanne, although I do love God Control.

The funny thing is one was on their 14th studio album. Madame X is definitely a better produced more cohesive work that was experimental 

Now compare her to her actual peers. Taylor's reputation vs Joanne, anti vs Joanne or 25 vs Joanne.

Joanne was obviously bigger, but Madame X was better, more creative and more experimental, and just more sophisticated overall. Also had better videos imo.

More remembered: probably Joanne by the GP, but Madame X by my Spotify lol.

There’s been threads comparing Joanne to Witness, Smile, and Rainbow so I don’t know what you’re on about. 

I'm not sure which one is bigger but I prefer Madame X album but Joanne has great songs but it's a cluttered mess with the sequencing. 

Madame X is better overall (although Joanne was more cohesive)

Both are a snoozefest and don't care about them 

They're having a panned off

I only use like 3 songs from Joanne and while I don’t revisit Madame X that often anymore it’s (mostly) good as a whole when I do.

 

Gaga is the most artistic when she doesn’t try to come off as so tbh which I guess is the opposite for Madonna.

Neither are cohesive. You cannot tell me ***** I'm Loca belongs on the same disc as Dark Ballet. 

dead aunt is more cohesive but madame is more ambitious and artistic with GOD control on it, ig its kinda a tie

as much as i don't enjoy listening to joanne, it's still bigger than x in every level
