I like her new bop Greedy and she dances amazing but her vocal tone is very common and her look is very dull. 

 

'greedy' is amazing and catchy and i love it... but she has no star quality i'm afraid x

It doesn't matter how faceless ATRL calls you, you just need to keep on bringing hits 

Also Greedy is kinda the most imaginative track by a pop girl this year

It's an infectious bop but I dont think it's imaginative at all. It sounds like a modern day take on Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado tbh

A normal person could not differentiate her voice with Camila Cabello.

She doesn’t have the drive tbh. She should be incorporating her amazing dancing in performances and music videos. 
 

Greedy is a nice departure from her boring ballads but we need her to continue in this MPG direction 

No, greedy went viral before release and debuted very high and has remained stable since.

 

An example of a faceless hit would be something like your average Dua Lipa single that stays on playlists forever so people stream it without realizing or even registering its existence and it slowly accumulates high numbers

Beautiful though she may be, Tate Mcrae is your average radio pop girl who will garner one or two hits before she succumbs to making her money through only fans. 

This gets said about every pop star

What’s wrong with you  

She is very faceless, but her songs are pretty popular. Right now when you look at her, you forgot what she looks like the next second. She really needs something to make her standout in terms of visual recognition, whether it is her hair or clothes. I wouldn’t be able to recognise her even walking past her on the street.

exactly. even her look is very plain. It doesn't have to be something dramatic but she totally needs to have something stand out more visually speaking. Like a complete wardrobe transformation could help and maybe a new hair color. Also even her stage name is very tiktoker esque...if she wants to branch out more I would have gone with a different last name tbh. Tate is a cool name for a female artist imo but the last name is very plain....there was clearly no artist development and plan before launching her which is a shame. She has raw talent but her look and her vocal tone are too vanilla imo. With enough training on her voice to make it sound a little more distinct and enough of a visual transformation she has potential but I'm afraid thats never going to happen and next think you know she'll be another Bebe, Rita, Jessie J etc..(and even they have a bit of a more recognizable look and vocal tone for the most part)

I'd quicker recognize her than some of the other dj feature girls that are floating around the bottom half of the hot 100. Tate at least gets some top 20 hits on her own.

Regardless of GP perception, she’s the hottest pop girl since Dua so she should keep this sexed up image going 

She could become recognizable if she keeps the slvt concept

i heard Greedy all the time and even watch the video and even see her face in some tik tok but now tell me to recall her face and i literally cannot. There`s no shade, but like you guys tell me in this thread thats she is a good dancer/performer.... like how the hell people know that if she doesnt get out there to promote those talents. Everything about her is good but nothing stick/stand out. She should pull an Ariana ponytail or Ava cut or Billie green or something.

She is. Something is lacking and nothing is unique about her.

Greedy is a good start to make her brand and she’s such a good dancer which is lost in these new pop girlies cause none of them can dance well like Dua Lipa. I saw her on tour and those dance moves made my eyes bleed tbh and the whole show was so boring.

Tbh the autotune in Greedy makes her voice unrecognizable as well  It's a fun song though. 

I don't think she is, but we don't get many chaces to see her character on display as in interviews, performances, eto.
