This is her most underrated album on ATRL. Lemonade, Self Titled or Ren don't have a song as genius as Love on Top

This album is one of my favourites of all time. It just doesn't stop being brilliant.

Her third-best album. So good! And agreed with y'all, the original tracklist (and original cover as well) are the way to go. 

It's not as daring and ambitious of a project as what followed in her career but it is just as good musically imo. Very underrated! 

 

I do prefer the re-arranged tracklist version though. Dance For You is by far the best track 

Her second best album in my opinion.  

Her most underappreciated project is The Gift. 4 certainly debuted with lower numbers, however it has performed impressively over the course of the years. RTW, LOT, 1+1, and I Care are staples in her repertoire nowadays and then you have hidden gems like Dance For You, End Of Time, Party and Countdown that people still very much appreciate. 4 did that

I fell in love with this album after buying the '4' Live At Roseland DVD and watching it, then I got obsessed with it,

watched it a lot of times and listened to the album, and fell in love with all of its songs

This album is peak Beyoncé for me. She managed to make carefully crafted songs that were still bops, had a mostly light and happy vibe and sounded timeless. I want her to make another album like that.

It's timeless, sophisticated, refined and a classic album by all means. No wonder 4 is Beyoncé's personal favourite.

Still an impressive feat either way. 

 

Unlike those albums 4 had no trendy smash hits attached to it whatsoever, yet it managed to score a hymn and her greatest classic ever, ergo Run The World and Love On Top. 

There’s about ten songs on 4 better than Love On Top (Your local friend’s favorite Beyoncé song after Single Ladies and Halo)
