That's because NOBODY cares about Doja's personal life like that to be honest, outside of stan Twitter/ATRL. 

Don’t understand how they can talk about how abusive and manipulative he is and not think that she’s being manipulated. Like you can warn people till the end of time but people are not gonna listen until they’re ready or hit a last straw.

One day y’all will accept that women in the entertainment industry are largely aware and dismissive of the abuse they see from the powerful men they surround themselves with, rather than rush to attribute their inaction to a lack of agency.  
 

Part of the reason why MeToo fell apart was that some of the same people who rushed to rightly call out their abusers folded when their friends/coworkers/collaborators were the ones being called out.

 

People who are in the industry have different standards for what is “acceptable” behavior. The more likely scenario is that Doja has heard the rumors and doesn’t see the big deal based on the people she comes in contact with.

She’s a homeschooled-internet weirdo & he’s an internet edge-lord. Seems like a fine match.

This era was already shaky enough because she came online and told her fans they were all stupid for liking her previous music, that last song was not commercial but also not a major change from her usual sound, and now when she should be issuing a recovery single, she's fighting with fans who are drawing attention to her man being an abuser.
