I think The Fame to The Fame Monster was an abrupt change for someone so early on her career. Even i was a bit shook.

 

I was 13 and loving Gaga, then TFM (especially Alejandro's video) was "too dark" for me and i was kinda turned off. I was such a dummy then she got me back with BTW. Now i love all of her eras though

Same happened to me. I live for The Fame and i was turned off by The Fame Monster. Then went back to her with BTW
