Which 2019 pop album by ATRL faves which features a man’s name in the title of one of the songs is better after the years that has passed?

I like Lover more than the average ATRL user, but it does not get anywhere near Dedicated.

 

I think I have all but one song on Dedicated saved in my library. Lover is much more patchy. My faves on it are:

 

Death by a Thousand Cuts, Cornelia Street, I Think He Knows, Lover, The Archer, It's Nice To Have a Friend, Cruel Summer, Daylight, Miss Americana

Dedicated has a couple of lulls in the middle, but they’re more just okay rather than the outright bad depths of “songs” like ME! or YNTCD, and it’s more consistently great overall. That entire run from Julien through Everything He Needs is just punch after punch

 

I will say though, False God is one of my favorite Taylor songs ever, and I still love it even though I’ve largely cooled off on her in general

dedicated has some amazing songs including the opening 5 streak, but like half of the album isn’t bad per se, just super indistinct… meanwhile lover has a few rlly amazing songs, but also has lower lows. but at least the low-to-mid songs are still kinda memorable… god

hm if it was 2019, i would have chosen Dedicated but Lover is the album i only listen to now between the two

What is OP talking about "man's name" in Lover's tracklist?? "The Man"? "Prince"?? "Archer"??? 

 

Anyway Dedicated is lot better.

Dedicated is probably Carly’s worst album (not counting Tug of War). I’m going to have to go with Dedicated.
