Are there records that will never be broken? 

 

You cannot nominate the following records:
1) gender first-time milestones like: the first male or female artist to do something;
2) records related to sales - of course, that, most likely, they will not be beaten.

 

I'll nominate Mariah Carey.

The first artist who have to have their first five singles reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100,

from "Vision of Love" to "Emotions".

Madonna, the only artist to have 50 number ones on a Billboard Chart

Janet's 18 consecutive top 10 singles on the Hot 100. Streaming era has made each album cycle for big artists basically reset itself and allowing album tracks to chart, thus breaking the streak each time.

i don't think that anyone will ever be able to break mariah's record of having #1s in different  years (19 to be exact)

Plus she was the first to do it, so she has that anyway. Only way someone could “beat” the record is if they placed the top 11+ songs, since that’s more than 10. But technically… still not beatable.

Beyoncé’s record for most Grammy awards. Look at the list, there’s no competition there. + she’ll keep increasing her lead for the rest of her life

Technically, I guess someone could beat it by being completely solo for every song if we count the Lana song as not being solo even though she's hardly in the song.
