??? Are y’all basing the quality of a record label based your flop faves? It seem every time ATRL faves is not doing well, suddenly that label is cause and they are the worst label and are great when their faves doing well. 
 

I honestly want to know what are the great record labels? and why ? Please be as objectively as possible and no biases.

Columbia and Republic.

Hollywood Records

Republic and Interscope seem great. But honestly I can name one/two artists who are treated poorly despite the big label mentioned. So in my opinion the best label depends on the artist. And on the team/people (from the label) who work for that one.

The best would be Republic in terms if you want success and your music to be pushed/promoted as much as possible i.e. Drake, Taylor, Ariana, Nicki, etc.

 

Interscope is really good if an artist wants success but wants space for creativity (bc their music isn’t viewed highly commercial) and move on their own timing i.e. Kendrick, Gaga, Billie, Madonna, Lana, etc.

I can't speak for other artists, but it's clear Republic just let Taylor do whatever she wants (both musically and in terms of timing). 

 

OT: Republic, Interscope and Columbia are the best three. 

Parkwood by far. My mind shudders to think of all the money they've poured on media propaganda/ favorable articles on behalf of a certain struggling popstar throughout the past decade. Also worth mentioning radio programmers being harassed with cheques and bought with favours most recently as well.

Republic if you're not an upcoming artist.
