Not the discord server sending one of the modlors to confront me. These receipts do not contradict the point I made, that the original only sold roughly around half what the previous album Fearless did which makes it a bomb and the re-recording will fail to match whatever success Red TV had making it a double-bomb! No amount of "country radio hits" will change that but whatever helps you cope dear!

Successful?? Hasn't the original only sold half what its predecessor Fearless did? It's here to bomb once again as a re-recording as if the floppage of the original wasn't enough! Speak Now is about to claim the title of first album ever to fail in meeting commercial and critical expectations in not just one but TWO distinct album campaigns.

This lazy repackaging is getting rightfully panned just like the original was back then. Sad that even notoriously corrupt critics are refusing to get on her payroll now.

Which MPG cannot pull MPG numbers?
Lady Gaga

Will Speak Now debut with 1 million in the USA?
Yeah I don't think she has what it takes to bag any more debuts like that tbh! Her public perception has changed for the worse due to her racist behavior lately and we can already see the karmic effect manifesting in her critical support waning so abrubtly. It's only reasonable to expect the commercial power to be next in line for the chopping block!

Post here only excellent albums with no skips and deep and intelligent lyrics
- Stronger Vocalist: Taylor Swift vs Britney Spears?
For better or worse, usually for worse.- Was 'Look what you made me do' the last iconic pop video by a female artist?
Sorry to burst your delusional bubble but that doesn't seem to be the case unfortunately. Just checked and there's a vast amount of music videos by pop girls that have accumulated more views post LWYMMD. Swifties love to make everything about numbers and "objective data" so I'm sure they will remain consistent and agree with me on this.- Is "Lover" the "Come On Over" of the decade?
If you were to disregard everything that went right for "Come On Over", I think maybe then the parallel would start to make sense.- Last 4 Albums: Britney vs. Taylor
Britney for all (yes, even for Britney Jean). I unironically think Unusual You, Big Fat Bass & Criminal are better than anything Taylor has put out so far.- Multiple new Olivia Rodrigo US certifications
See swifties, this is what an act who can produce multiple smashes per era looks like. Take a good look and I'd advise you to get used to what you just glared at because it's coming to torment you acutely for the rest of the year! Y'all are in for a rude awakening.- Throwback: Taylor performs "Hot n Cold" with Katy on the Fearless tour
And then she decided to go and make a huge fuss about a couple dancers dropping her barely sold out tour gig for Katy's, calling it "sabotage". If that isn't enough proof of her backstabbing nature I don't know what is!- Bigger: Britney in 1999-2000 vs Taylor in 2022-2023?
I don't doubt Britney would be having comparable box scores for her dates if she bothered to embark on a tour nowadays tbh! And NO, sadly I think that Taylor doing her spam release thing back in the late 90's would not have mattered much because people used to have a higher quality standard for music back then.- Bigger: Britney in 1999-2000 vs Taylor in 2022-2023?
As I have already pointed out earlier today in a similar thread, the pandemic really did wonders for the whole touring business, didn't it?- Bigger: Britney in 1999-2000 vs Taylor in 2022-2023?
Britney SOLD over 50 million albums in that time period alone. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Taylor is expected to be matching that figure by the end of the current year, is she?- Ariana Grande's worst album?
Ugh why is it that you're always so correct with your takes? I don't think I've ever met anyone as reasonable before tbh! OT: Yours Truly. The BORING ballads + Popular Song cast quite the shadow over the few good tracks in it now that I think about it.- Is the Eras Tour the most impactful concert in the last decade?
Not at all. Speaking strictly from my personal experience, the very existence of this tour has only been brought to light for me recently and I certainly wouldn't have heard about it if it weren't for swifties spamming ATRL with mentions of it. Cute numbers though, people were really craving for live concerts after covid and it's showing!- Lover: #10 on BB200 w/ 40k units on 200th week, why?
Finally some common sense in this thread! This is nothing to brag about. Albums fluctuate on the charts all the time.- Lover: #10 on BB200 w/ 40k units on 200th week, why?
Yeah sorry but that's not really the flex you think it is! That's kinda like as if the GP suddenly and unexplainably decided to gorge themselves on a Janet Jackson album and choosing "Dream Street" out of all her albums to experience the revival. Doesn't sound like something you would want to see happen, does it?- Stan lies that everyone just accepted
That Britney Spears is a talentless gurl! Personally, I think that as long as she keeps her mic off and knees in check she should still be able to deliver a good performance! Who cares about vocal talent when you can so effortlessly serve such profound unadulterated sex-appeal! That is a talent in and of itself!- Could Xtina pull off a full arena tour?
LMAO! But now in all seriousness I don't really see why she wouldn't be able to when she has timeless all-encompassing classics such as "Vanity" and "Monday Morning" up in her arsenal of hits! I'm more than sure the GP wouldn't pass on the once in a lifetime opportunity of experiencing these being performed live!- More impact: Teenage Dream or 1989
I don't really think either had much of an impact (I happen to stan Janet on the side so I would know better as to use that word in vain) so I guess I'll just have to contend with watching the mess unfold hihi! By all means, keep on fighting each other!- I asked AI who they think are some of the most iconic female pop stars
This particular AI had me in absolute agreement regarding the first 11 selections but then very quickly lost all of its credibility afterwards, to my dismay!- Paparazzi (Gaga) vs Toxic (Britney)
There really aren't many songs that I can confidently say are better than Toxic now that I think about it!- Katy's Smile now has 3 times as many solo certified songs as Chromatica. Surprised ?
My sincerest congratulations! When should we expect the ALBUM to scam gold though? It's been 3 years since the release and I'm starting to harbor some serious concern over the state of her career. - Stronger Vocalist: Taylor Swift vs Britney Spears?
