Natural causes just means he didn't die from external causes, so it wasn't an accident, overdose, violence, etc.

Damn it’s gonna be sad to watch John Wick 4 and Percy Jackson since those were some of the last projects he was in.

This is sad, we was so good in JW & as Papa Legba in AHS: Coven.

Shocking news. He was great in so many roles like The Wire, Bosch, Horizon.

Natural causes is basically a catch all medical term which means his body could not keep up its normal physiologic functions due to age, most of the time it has to do with heart issues, stroke, respiratory issues.

 

Basically they died because their bodies were too old. No external causes, no one killed him, no drug overdose, no nothin.
