I feel like the Vogue cover is when he got his first real backlash as a solo artist, with the DWD press debacle pushing him to overexposure. But what does ATRL think?

He's a very admired pop star, this Is why Is just won AOTY from his peers.

As usually you make Stan opinions a major opinion, then you will act surprised when he will announce a global stadium tour on 2024 instead of his retirement.

But there's nothing about him that hasn't already been done by Boy George or Prince

Grammys really gave him a big favour and I don't think he's winning major award for his albums, same for Billie and Olivia....

why do i feel that, while other artists face this too, Harry not being 'innovative' is judged so much more? so many artists are not really innovative and yet see enormous success and no criticism for it. but since harry can be seemed as 'extravagant' in a way, then he is 'nothing that hasn't already been seen'

and harry has never claimed to be the next new thing. people just put that label on him (bc he does in fact stand out in some ways from his male peers in the industry) and then people get mad at him as if he asked for this

Nah, he is not overexposed yet. He should continue to release another album and soon. He's the main pop boy right now.

Also, his outfits are SO ugly lately and I need him to look hot again.

But Sam Smith is wearing non binary clothing and y'all call them disgusting

Yea, I think?

His being in so many movies+the dramas with the queer thing, pushed it

(voted for the wrong thing)

but I kind of don't think he should stop maybe?

it's tricky

imo he should keep the momentum a la Taylor/Drake (maybe even like Ariana/Doja, where they had a short break)

but also, do u rly know?

And?
You can say that about so many others

u can say that even about Adele, who was also getting lots of hate for the Grammy thing

Most huge artists get this hate anyways

don't include me in the 'y'all' category. i have never said a bad thing about him, i believe he is an amazing artist and the criticism he receives is completely unjustified, fatphobia and queerphobia as its finest.

i didnt feel like that before but i think the aoty speech was a bit of a turning point but well see in the next few days

also he kinda goes into hiding in between album cycles so i think anything can be reversed

honest truth: Harry is out streaming and outselling ATRLs faves and they cant stand it

No

This is 1st Harry’s House Award shows, he did a few promo during release week

He is a Main Pop Guy!! Adele & Beyoncé should learn a little how to stop being lazy

And the same can be said for all our faves. There's nothing that hasn't been done before, and usually better.

His constant queerbaiting is basically my main issue with him  :gaycat2:

Nah he's pretty much become Ed but with an actual fanbase

Yes he is, and I know non-stans who think so and are annoyed by how constantly he’s in the headlines. I don’t even think it’s really his fault, it was his relationship with Olivia Wilde and her drama with Jason Sudeikis that had him constantly in the headlines. But he should probably take a break for a bit when he can and come back stronger.
