It’s a setup to justify debuting their new gg and ship aespa off to have a more immediately profitable but less sustainable career in the US when their domestic popularity dries up I fear. 
 

Hopefully the new girlies eat too because aespa deserved better

Also on the topic of aespa concert solos, Giselle’s was an underrated campy masterpiece and it takes a very high iq to get it I fear. The lyricism was far too deep for SM to ever green light for an official release but miss Geez-L still showed us her poetic mind and I will forever be thankful.

aespa also has no Japan debut/album, yet nearly all those other groups you mentioned have managed to debut there.

 

I think the management has been a disaster, but now that we know about the HYBE vs. Kakao vs. LSM vs. Chris Lee battles, it makes sense. Just a shame the girls have to suffer, since this is a very important time in their career.

hasn't it been postponed like 3+ times at this point  it was supposed to come out october/november last year, then feb 20, then april and now coming may. then at some point recently they scrapped the title track and couldn't decide on a new one after doing the album photoshoot   such a f***ing mess
