Aespa kind of breaks the SM formula of having very hit or miss title tracks, but always having some interesting b-sides.

 

All of their titles are good (including Girls, fight me), and there are a couple of cute b-sides like Thirsty and Lucid Dream. But then there are a bunch of tracks that just feel like "Aespa title track" rejects, starting from I'll Make You Cry and all the way up to like, Trick or Trick. Not horrendous, but just very samey.

 

Perhaps the first full album will satisfy me. I want a release that matches the excellence of like, Pink Tape, SJJD 1-3, The Red, 1 of 1, Yawn's Purpose etc
