I mean wasn't Kakao exposed for purchasing negative comments about many idol groups? Plus their subsidiary Starship was involved in the Produce show rigging and has long been suspected of sajaegi activities...

 

Some of it might not be that farfetched...screaming at HYBE muscling in on Kakao's acquisition though. Wonder what they'll do with their shares now

SM is a public company while Pledis etc are not. Nobody has full ownership over a public company, like that's the idea of being "public"

I think it's true because it's only 14.8%

but if they manage to buy 25% more like they want or even MORE later... it's not looking good anyway

This is like the third time Lee Sooman has agreed to sell shares to another company on a Friday.

Perched for this SM/Hybe/Kakao mess but i fear for SM's future

JYP are kinda save for now. But then again Bang PD who used to worked and known as the main producer from JYP before being parted away and start BigHit in 2005/2006. It would be a matter of time Hybe and JYP will have interaction in future.

Currently though, zero expectations as I don't think Kakao and Chris Lee etc. will go down without a fight. LSM clearly turned to HYBE desperately, because he was backed into a corner and HYBE was happily waiting to "help".
