I'm so curious as to why Stray Kids hit as big as they did but Got7 couldn't quite reach that same level of success despite arguably having all the ingredients. I LOVED Got7 at the time man.

stray kids and ateez are always trying to do what bts used to do before they started to release charlie puth type of music. they're basically filling that space. they were smart in doing that since the beginning because enhypen also tried to do that recently, but they failed, and thank god because we need more songs like given taken or fever. 

 

got7 had better vocalists and better dancers, so yeah, it is sad they never had an actual hit.

Liz obviously kills her parts, but she also deserves credit for leading the chorus. She did the same thing in Not Your Girl as well, I’m sure Yujin also contributed a lot but Liz’s voice is so prominent during these group choruses
